Did you know...

...that the Moon appears to go through a cycle of phases because it revolves around (orbits) the Earth? The same side of the Moon is always lighted (the side facing the Sun); as the Moon revolves around the Earth (once every 30 days), we are able to see more or less of the lighted side of the Moon.
