My name is Jylinda Michelle White and I attend West Springfield High School. I just turned 15 and I will be starting the tenth grade this Fall. I'm really excited about this upcoming school year. I decided to attend this camp to sharpen my internet skills. I was hoping that with this camp I'd learn enough about the internet to be able to get online at home and use the computer as an effective resource in my school work. I really enjoy school. I came out of my ninth grade year with a 3.6 grade point average. My favorite subjects are: English, Math, and Music. I'm not someone that can just cruise the school year and come out with strait A's. I have to work hard for every grade that I get. But that's enough about school : )
I have a normal sized family. It's just my parents, my brother, and I. We're pretty close and they all encourage me to do my best. My dad is a dean at a local college. He spends a lot of his day at work on the computer. He gets a ton of e-mail each day and just about every aspect of his work somehow ties into the computer. My mother is a teacher and she has all of her student records on the computer. She says that she would be completly lost without it. My brother is taking some computer clases at the college that he is attending. He is able to help me also. So as you see it is very important for me to learn everything I can about computers.
