How to Access a Current Surface Weather Map

Beginner's Map: Click here to access a simple current suface weather map from The Weather Channel (note that this is the same map that is available from TWC via cable television).

Intermediate to Advanced Map: Click here to access a current surface weather map of the United States from the American Meteorological Society's DataStreme Project server (at Purdue University). Also, you may find it helpful to download/print a copy of the WXP Symbol Legend (including an explanation of the station model format). Click here to download the weather map legend.
