Sandburg Planetarium Inclement Weather Policy

If Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) are closed due to inclement weather, then all site visits to schools (SVs) and visits to the planetarium (PVs), including after school and evening activities, are cancelled. Every effort will be made to reschedule SVs and PVs.

If there is a late opening or early closing (one, two, or three hours), then the FCPS Transportation Office cancels all field trip busses, so all PVs are cancelled. For late openings, please call me ASAP to discuss possible rescheduling of site visits (for the same day).
