Article: Inspiration
Author: Carrie Fleck
Date: May 2004 (Sky & Telescope magazine)
Abstract (Document Summary):
"I read your article "Astronomy with Children: Our Backyard
Analemma Project" (March 2003, page 77), and it inspired me to make my own
analemma. I marked my basketball goal's shadow on my driveway starting on
January 26, 2003, and ending January 24, 2004. Over the period of a year I
watched as an analemma formed. I turned this into a science-fair project
that I presented in late January. Thank you for sparking my interest in
the subject! Carrie Fleck Price, UT carrief@m.carbon.k12.ut.us"
